We have 5 different bloodlines in our flock. These are pictures of some of the rams we use to breed the sheep.

Yellow SCM 2210 is ram number 0, hence no number after the year number. We call him Dubyah, Jr. His grandfather was a ram from Randy Grover. His lambs all have yellow tags.

Pink SCM 20209 is a ram we call Malbec, Jr; his ram number is 2. His father, Malbec came from David Redwine in Virginia. All his lambs have pink tags.

Red SCM 18305 is the son of Sooner, a ram we got from Howard and Lavonne Brown from Lazy B Livestock. His ram number is 3, and all his lambs have red tags.

NWT 7056 is a ram we call Leo. He and his son, Mint SCM 21408 are pictured. Leo’s ram number is 4, and all his lambs have mint tags. Leo came from Hound River Farm from Millage and Roxanne Newton, known to produce sheep with strong parasite resistance.

KEL 215 is a ram we call Red Sky we got from Indalecio Arriega and Bill Kellum. Red Sky’s father was Bolt, from Jason Beck in Indiana. Red Sky’s Grandfather was Red Haute, the 2014 Grand Champion Stud Ram from the North American International Livestock Exposition (N.A.I.L.E.), and Red Haute was the Indiana State Fair Grand Champion Ram. Red Sky’s ram number is 5, and his lambs have purple tags.
