Shepherd's Croft is named for the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Croft means "a small farm".

Our Story

Hal and Katherine Walters are the stewards of Shepherd's Croft, and we are happy to serve you in selecting top quality Katahdin meat sheep that will meet your needs to start, grow or refine your own sheep production. We started our own flock in 2001 with commercial sheep, transitioning to registered sheep in 2012. The transition is almost complete, and over the years we have meticulously selected the best and hardiest sheep to continue breeding. We are confident you will be happy with Shepherd's Croft sheep.
